The Triumph Astana residential building in Nursultan (formerly Astana), the capital of Kazakhstan, was modeled after the Triumph Palace in Moscow. Both buildings reflect the flamboyant style of 1950s Soviet architecture, exemplified by the Seven Sisters skyscrapers of Stalin period.
