Metro station Kurskaya  ( entrance hall ) in Moscow, Russia opened in 1950, and is a fine example of Stalinist architecture of the post-war period. Unlike many of Moscow's grand metro stations, Kurskaya contains no sculptures or artworks. Instead, its elegant design relies on refined architectural details.
