Metro station Prospekt Mira in Moscow, Russia opened in 1952, and is an elegant example of Stalinist architecture inspired by the achievements of Soviet agriculture. The station features graceful white marble arches crowned by ceramic bas-relief friezes with floral motifs. Inside, opposite the escalator hall is a large smalt artwork Mothers of the World by A.Kuznetsov.
